Arthritis in my Toe?

I sometimes get pain in my middle toe when walking, this has been happening for quite a while although not all the time. I have just noticed that the toe is a little swollen and when I feel it, there is a lump on the bone, the top half of the toe does not bend back like all the other ones either. Could it be arthritis? Or something else??

I definitely will do when I go to see him about something else, I always think docs are so busy and if it is just arthritis, there's probably not much he can do. Are these the symptons tho? Any docs out there?
My mum has arthritis of some of her joints... and the symptoms she has sound very similar to those that you are experiencing.

There are some medications that may be of help to you.

It's not really that bad, only sometimes when I am walking, but I have never noticed the lump on the bone before (maybe I just missed it - don't look at my toes that often !)
Still worth visiting the GP Judie.. a for confirmation and b as prevention or for further information on how to reduce arthritis happening in other joints.

After all, thats what GPs are there for! :)
