Friend's Ex's

Not copying the Geordie here but has anyone ever ended up with their friend's ex?? I know its supposed to be a complete no-go but its tempting.

If so are you still friends??

i found out one of my best mates tried to sleep with my ex husband, ok we were, and still are goin thro a divorce but i think its a complete no no

Yep, I married my friends ex! heheh!

and though I no longer see my friend it's got nothing to do with my husband, just kids, work and curcumstances got in the way. We still speak occasionally on the phone.

Well, I used to go out with (now it gets confusing!) my now husbands, best friends older brother.

We're all still friends, although I have to say me and older brother weren't in a long term relationship and weren't serious. I think it would change things if that was the case.

Saying that I have friends who used to be together for a long time and now are just friends and in new relationships with other people and it seems to work ok, most of the time!!

Well my second wife is my first wife's second cousin and we first met at my first wedding.

The fact that my first wife and I split up had nothing whatsoever to do with my second wife but family gatherings are frought to say the least.

Good friend of mine married my ex- and they now have 2 kids. In fact I introduced them while I was still going out with her - nothing went on while we were an item (at least I don't think so! :-) but a month or so after we broke up they got together. My mate was really worried about upsetting me but I couldn't have been happier for them. In fact I was dead chuffed that really, if it wasn't for me they would never have met. We stayed good friends until they moved to the other end of the country & sadly we just gradually lost touch.

I am getting married to my exboyfriend's best friend next year. We're still friends with my ex and see him every so often. He's now happily married to a girl I introduced him to!!

I had that done to me. Unfortunately for them it was more awkward for them than me. They seemed to be really embarrassed around me, I just thought it was funny and slightly sad. I knew it peeved my mate more as he would lie in bed at night knowing that I had been there before him.....wa ha ha hahahahahaha (Dr Evil laugh)

I kept a run going of 5 girlfriends, my mate would go out with them, they would see what a ploker he was and then decide I was the much better option, happened as I say 5 in a row but then he went out with a ropey old dog so I broke the run :)

Was never a problem because it wasn't as if I was nickiing them off him, I'm a little bit shy so wouldn't tend to go up to girls to ask them out but when they were going out with him them would talk to me most of the time and I could work my magic.
