do you think a long distance relationship can work?

If you spend every weekend with your partner, but did not see them in the week.

Ah, thats lovely laurence - I have new hope!!

Hi angel! I met my boyfriend on holiday nearly six years ago. He lives in the Midlands and I'm in Milton Keynes. We see each other every weekend and have time to ourselves during the week.

It's not going too well at the moment, but it's nothing to do with the distance, so it can definitely work xxx

Hi sheri - two positive answers, that's great.

Milton Keynes, you're not too far from me. Do you know little Bicester? :-)

quite often if you spend too much time with someone early on the relationship becomes stale, you look forward to seeing them more if its weekends only so yes it does work, but there comes a time when you have go to the next stage and you find out then whether the annoying habits become an issue :)
Yes but laurie she dragged u to live in Brum away from your beloved Stamford Bridge......so it has its bad points

Question Author

laurence2- Thats a beautiful story.

Angel-cake: My boyfriend and I had a long distance relationship for 3 years. I was in NYC and he was 7 hours north of me. I was hard at times but it worked out. Everyone told us not to waist our time, and asked us how we trusted eachother. It got hard here and there but it was totally worth it. Ya know, we also broke up with oneanother for short bursts, but we always found our way back to one-another. Now, I moved back to be with him. It's been close to 6 years that we've been together. So YES it CAN WORK!!

whiskey comes to rugeley every weekend, come on back whiskey, we miss you!!!!
I think you're playing with me, rugeleyboy. You go into hiding every time I'm up there lol ;o) x

if fate meant it, we would meet!!!

lol, rugeleyboy x (sorry, angel, hun) x
Funny enough I once had a long distance relationship with a lass from Rugeley ........ I live in the North East at Darlington (Nr. Newcastle). She still lived her parents so any week-ends spent together were mostly spent at mine, if I was feeling flush and we would spend the week-end in a hotel somewhere nice. At times I would miss her that much that I would drive down after work just to spend a couple of hours with her before driving back :-)
