Hiya Sam,

I am so glad you're feeling better now. But.... does this happen a lot? If so, you might have a mild form of bipolar disorder (manic depression), which would explain your extreme emotional ups and downs. Have you considered talking to your GP or a counselor about it? Just a thought.

Be well,
Estie

Hey Sam,

I know exactly what you mean. Without sounding crude, could it have anything to do with your menstrual cycle? Sometimes I get like that due to my periods.

I put it down to this, you feel **** for a few days but then wthe smallest thing will pick you up and make you feel on top of the world. It may sound a bit weird, but I like feeling down sometimes, it makes me realise that life is actually really great and I have everything to live for :0)!

One thing though...if this does happen quite often, maybe seeking medical advice about what estie suggested may be a good idea, coz this only really happens to me like once every 6 months or so!

Glad to hear your feeling better though! Keep smiling! xx

Happens to me a lot, sometimes I wonder what I'm doing here and then something turns around and it all feels much better.

Just don't do anythink stupid though, not talking bout suicide or anythin, just some decisions are always better to think about at least twice before acting on them.

probably was due to my menstruational cycle as have now finished my cycle (yesterday) i feel 10 times better than i did last week.
Hi Sam. I too can go from one extreme to the other. I tend to find that if I have one major problem then I'm fine, but if another comes along (or a few other minor ones) then it gets the better of me and I feel very sad and depressed. I tend to take 'time out' when I feel like this as I know that it doesn't last long and things will always improve. A day of cutting myself off from the outside world works wonders. Oh, re-arranging the furniture in your house can lift your spirit too!! Silly I know, but try it next time you feel low. It makes you feel like you're ready for positive change.
Ha Ha! Champagne, that exactly what I do! Re-arrange things around the house! It's such a refreshing change when your wardrobe is in order, or you can watch tv from a different angle in your living room! Didn't think anyone else would have done something as silly as this! LOL!

Whenever I get days like that, I find swimming &/or walking really helps to lift my spirits.

I used to suffer terribly with PMT & felt awful the week before, but as soon as 'it' happened, those feelings would soon disappear. The joys of womanhood!

Take care stylinsam & any other sufferer!

Its great, isnt it gill? It gives me a feeling of achievement as well as making things seem brand new. Great for uplifting the spirit! (plus you find things you forgot you ever owned!!) :oD
I seem to always find new clothes, I never knew existed, another way to uplift yourself.....a new wardrobe without spending any money! :0)
