Have you ever lied about your age,and why??

When i was 16 and was in a pub. My mate bought the drinks because she looked older than i did, even though she was only 14 at the time. The barmaid asked us both for ID and we said we didnt have it but that i was 19 and my friend was 18. We really laid it on thick and the barmaid believed us. I feel guilty about it now but at the time i didnt.

Other than that ive never lied about my age. Do wish i looked younger than my age now though lol

lol,tell me about it! 2 years ago when I was single I went to a nightclub with my friend.I was 35 at the time.This guy kept following me around all eve,and he wasnt taking no for an answer.Eventually I had a drink with him.He asked my age,Being in a daft mood I said 30.He said " You're not 30" at which point I was gona confess when he said"you look much younger than that."Then he said that he was 21!!! So I definitely didnt own up then.In fact I went out with him for a few weeks!

Quite a few times, during my teens, I told the nightclub doormen I was over 18 and would sometimes 'borrow' my older sisters driving licence, as proof of I.D., which once backfired on me, because I stupidly told the doorman my own date of birth (rather than the one on my sisters driving licence) and was promptly turned away!!

I've only lied to get served/ into a club, etc but I am only 23 so there is still plenty of time for me to lie bout it!

I have however lied on behalf of my younger sister and neice when taking them to the cinema, circus, etc. I make my 16 year old sister be 15 to get in and get my neice to be 4 and not 5 (I am not paying �6 to get a tiddler into the cinema when she's sat on my lap throughout the film cos she can't see over the chairs!!)

I have lots of times. When I was 19 and pregnant I lived a fair way from my parents. I had to catch 3 buses to get there and it cost a fortune in fares. I used to get half fare and say I was 13 and best of all they never questioned me :)

hi nat I would have done it until I was 7 months pregnant and moved back to my home town.

hi kazzie, I am pretty small and looked quite young so no-one ever said owt to me. wish i still looked 6 years younger than i am now lol

I don't think I looked 13 when I was 13 let alone 7 months gone! They'd have probably kicked me off!

Tell me bout it.... 4 pm for me tho! Except dad is staying this weekend (which is great) but means I have to do all the housework tonight :-( Unless I greet him with a duster and a can of polish tomorrow?!

I used to get child fare on buses until about 2 years ago. Im 26. oh dear I must be getting old looking! I think its because I never wore make up, was flat chested and always had my hair in a pony tail. Since going on Dianette (contraceptive) I have gained 3-4 cup sizes so no longer have the young and innocent look!

Just the traditional - pretending I was 21, when I was younger to get into the over 21 places. Pretending I was over 25 when I was younger to get in the over 25 places. No funny stories though. I think Kazzianne's is a good one about dating the 21 year old!
