Dreams

I was just thinking about the dreams I had last night and I was wondering why we get them and why the are so obscure? Why are they about something that you might have thought about once and forgotten or something you have never thought of? I find them really bizarre does anyone have any answers?

i always find that i dream about the things that i might think about breifly during the day, but never think it trhough properly, or come to any conclusions about it, so i think its just us sorting through stuff we havnt sorted yet
