Question Author
split up with my last boyf about 3 years ago, has been no-one else since then.

Not always to meet new partners. Or are you not over your ex? Just curious

ive been celebate for 3 hours
Question Author
yes am definately over my ex, just not met anyone new
Question Author
oh Zeus thats awful!
would you like to meet someone goindollally?
Question Author
yes I'd like to, It just gets more difficult as you get older and the longer you've been out of 'the dating game'

Sex is very over rated, much better with a Mills & Boon and a mug of Horlicks in bed, plus you don't have to tell them that they were "awesome" and "the best you've ever had"

;-)

the dating game...............I give up on that one..........still believe there is someone out there for everyone (Minxie lives in hope!)

I know what you mean Boo but I think it's pretty much the same with a lot of things, you don't miss it until it's gone. you know what I mean? If somethings there 'on tap' then you think - oh this again!
Question Author
I'm still a hoping minxie
I once was celibate for 6 months but I seriously thought I was going to go out of my mind :(
Question Author
well i've already gonedoolally! Slooow_Jo
Dont be scared to try a dating/introductions agency. Most are in the same boat, looking for a relationship so whats wrong with having a helping hand? Its something I would consider if I split up with my bf as we split up for a few months last year and all the guys I met when socialising were just after one thing. Even if nothing comes of it you will at least meet some new folk and hopefully get wined and dined. Cant be that bad eh?
Question Author
I have actually tried it alijangra but one guy i met who lived not too far from me got a bit of a stroppy on because I wouldn't stay at his on the first date. Another I'm still talking to, on msn but not sure if we'll ever get to meet!
keep at it! Tell the losers where to go and move on to the next xx Alison
