Why have i had my period for a month??? I'm on the pill and have not come off it but it just wont stop. I'm getting big clots and its horrible. Only thing is, i have no pain, no bloating, no usual symptoms of my period that i usually get. I have mentioned bfore that my bloke is more tham well endowed and has caused me to bleed before and it started that last time we had sex (bless him, he's not happy anput mky bodily functions at the moment!!!!) and it hurt like hell and i havent stopped bleeding since - any suggestions?

I know it sounds horrible, but are you sure you arent' having a miscarriage or anything? I really do think you should go to the docs (not just a walk in centre). It could also be a sign of fibroids - my auntie had constant bleeding becuase she had bad fibroids so it could be that. Either way, you need to get it checked - the docs can give you something to stop the bleeding for a while and will get you an emergency scan to have a look! Make a docs appointment asap miss_me!!!!
A couple of years ago I decided that I would run a few packets of the pill together as I was fed up with having periods. Doesn't always work, you can get breakthrough bleeding. I had heavy bleeding.
Your doctor is your best port of call - tell your bloke to sod off, your wellbeing is more important than his in this case. It may be nothing, but worrying about it will make you feel miserable.
I have PCOS and have never ovulated, but get a heavy bleed every month - there is nothing straightforward about periods.
If it's really heavy bleeding then if it was me I'd give up on the doc and go for A+E. You've been bleeding for a month, thats more than your body is supposed to handle! If you go for hospital, they'll check you properly and probably get you scanned then and there. I'd be really really keen to find out what it was - bleeding for over a month IS NOT normal, there has to be some explanation!! I wouldn't wait 2 weeks - you could still be bleeding then and that really isn't good for you - you'll be getting weak and no doubt aneamic too!! Get it sorted miss_me!!!
