Honest to god ive never met so many dishonest people than on the net! Have recently met up with a few people off sites and they looked nothing like their pics!They decsribed themselves as athletic, gorgeous, tall, when they were short, overweight and bout 4 foot. I know that looks dont count for everything, but they count for something! Has anyone ever experianced a similar situation?

No, but a friend has. It was hilarious!! I was her back up plan, she texted me within 5 mins of meeting the guy and I had to pretend to be a pushy work colleague butting in on their date. I couldnt stop laughing though and the poor guy stormed off, he knew fine what was going on. Thats what he gets for telling porkies though!!

This particular guy I met turned round to me and said I had the nerve to turn him down! My god he was minging, and to be fair I was honest with him, didnt lead him on, just said look im not attracted to you in that way, buts lets go have a good night anyway. He threw a right stop and told me I looked like chunk from the goonies! I just laughed, it was so funny, seeing this grwon man have a mardy And fyi, im a very good looking girl! not a chunk in sight!

I met a bird off a dating site 2 years ago, she did not have a pic on the site. She kept telling me in texts and on the phone how she was really pretty, and only normally dated male models.

I was actually really nervous meeting up with her, thinking I may not be good enuff for her,

No kidding....my jaw dropped....for the wrong reason...it must have been her mother who turned up....she looked 10 years older than she had stated.....and was the most unattractive bird Id ever met....the exact opposite to what I was expecting.

Yeh Kissyfur I'd the same problem, im 34 and the ;ady was supposed to be 38. When I met up she was over 50! It nearly freaked me out.

Yes. I met a lesbian from an internet dating site and though she looked very similar to her photo, she'd obviously bleached her top lip before the photo was taken. She hadn't before we met and the head of her beer clung to it as she drank. I kept expecting her to tell me her real name was Barry. Needless to say, I didn't return her calls after the one date.

Honestly I put the most up to date pics of me up, do these guys really think im gunna be attracted to them once ive seen them?? Im all for a good personality and stuff, but ive got to be physically attracted too! Think ill stick to getting groped by drunk pervs in bars! Least that way you can turn round there and then and tell um to sling it.

kissyfur your experience is, in my opinion, a typical male response to rejection ( guys please note I said typical, I know there are exceptions). I dont know how many times I have been called a lesbian or an ugly sl*g because I have spurned some drunken t0ssers advances.

I did once meet some guy I had been chatting to for months in a chat room. We got on like a house on fire. He travelled down to see me for the day. When I saw him! He was built like a small fridge, absolutely covered in acne. Lets just say, it was a very long day!

I have have met 3 different people from dating sites and have just recently signed upto a new site, I took my time with them as you did and spoke with them for a month or so before meeting and they did look like their picture, they just weren't for me.... Shallow as it seems I asked them how old their photo's were!

Don't give up just yet kissyfur, you may just meet someone nice.
