eumovate or eumovate???
2 Answers
I am reliably informed (by a top London skin specialist) that Eumovate Ointment and Eumovate Cream have the same formula. Why then does the Ointment keep my Eczema completely under control whereas the Cream does not help at all? Any information would be most welcome. Thank you.

Other than that your specialist is quite right, they are the same formula. It is most likely that that the ointment, being oil based, forms a protective layer over the skin and is therefore more protective from irritation whereas cream is generally absorbed into the skin leaving no protective layer.
