For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.This is a very difficult question to answer. In order to suggest particular activities/entertainment for an individual as well as knowing their physical and psychological limitations (in this instance at least) you would need to know what interests this person has and what ideally makes them happy/keeps them entertained particularly when they are away from loved ones.
I am afraid that this may be more specialist than can be answered (by me at least) here. However, I would suggest that you find out about the individuals personal hobbies and interests, what is available at the centre, local places that he could visit (who will transport them etc) and any local events or activities that are going on at the time that would suitably accessible for someone with this disability. In addition, I would ask the centre what they provide in terms of facilities and entertainment (clubs, societies such as bridge or poker for example) and whether they organise day trips.
Following this, perhaps this site and the links might provide some ideas.
