I'm afraid, I can't recommend anything as I favour waxing and topping up with my epilator (I assume you won't use an epilator either if you don't like wax??? - if that's not the case, then I recommend an epilator)
My hair is also "immune" to hair removal cream, my skin will burn long before the hairs are gone. Tried waxing at home - hopeless.
I eventually went to a salon to get it done. Had about 8 goes now, and regrowth is much reduced in between treatments. Hardly hurts at all, and at 10 a time is probably cheaper than the alternatives!
