Pink, that is so sad,and yes we need to put things in perspective, but we deserve to have a little moan as well, don't we.
Take care ladies, thanks for your kind words, Ray xx
My grandma's chap has just been diagnosed with it and been told he's not got long left in this world. Really sad for my grandma - I've only met him a few times but nonetheless he's family and he's kept my grandma happy for the time they've been together.
My other grandma died of stomach cnacer about 5 years ago - that was awful to watch. Stuff like that makes you think euthanasia should be legalised. I never want to die that death and would rather take my own life.
hi Raysparx and gesso thanks sooo much for sponsoring me. It really means alot to me, my mum and to Cancer Research UK.
alot of people have died from cancer in my mum's estate. I am starting to wonder whether it has anything to do with the refuse site they live near.
I can only thank you all for your kind support. if anybody out there would like to sponsor me click on the below link..i have raised so far nearly 170.

PS. I am not putting any stars on but I will donate 1.00 for every reply I get to cancer research, Ray xx
flipflop so sorry to hear about your nans partner, god bless!
raysparx, you are indeed a very wise man. you've made me cry now,you never fail to amaze me with your kindness.
Mowbray, good luck with the run and my sincerest thoughts go to you and your Mum, i know how i would be feeling in your situation, i bet she is very proud of you. xx
What a great idea this is!
I know many people who have suffered from this terrible disease and the sad thing is, it's becoming more and more rare to meet someone who doesn't know of someone affected by cancer.
Last year and me and a lot of female work colleagues took part in Race for Life to raise money for cancer research and this year we did the race again and raised loads.
Best wishes to everyone who is involved in keeping this going.
