I can't believe what I heard on our local news earlier, I am English and live in North Wales one of the top cops here does not want to see the English Flag on cars in the area,what a prat,he can get stuffed,mines staying!!!!

I'm surprised you dare ray! I'm a southerner living in the Northeast and up here people are religeous about football. Display the wrong colours and the flags might survive but your car probably wouldn't so I hope your welsh neighbours are more forgiving.

What an utter tw@, good for you ray, im a Scot married to an English lady, when we lived in Edingurgh she proudly wore her England rugby top and, as wonderwoman says, no-one batted an eyelid.

As for england flags in wales, it may be construed that you're rubbing their nose in it. Even if it's as innocent as you say - just supporting your boys.

Good on you Ray, it shouldn't make any difference, where I live, in the SE, my wife has a German friend, her and her other half, who is English, have both German and England flags hanging outside their house, so far, no-ones took the blind bit of notice, hope you get away with it.

My wife is Wewlsh but when my Grandkids bought flags for the car she put them on

Only problem I have with her is when the Rugby is on and Wales is playing, especially against England. She sits in her chair singing like mad the Welsh Anthem and saying what alot of pansies the English players are.

Mind you she did go in to the kitchen half way through the last England Welsh game. She was very quiet!!!

Hi pippa, I have lived here 26 years and love it,I have been self employed for 25 years and all the lads I work with are welsh,they are a great lot, I haven't come across any racism personally just a bit of banter, thanks all I feel like a pioneer in the old west now, dare I look over the wagon????

I happen to be English (well ... only a quarter Scot), but I think anyone who drives around with those silly little flags on their car, or on anything else, for that matter, is sad beyond belief. However, if they want to do it, that's fine by me. I'm all for a bit of showing your colours, even in a 'foreign' land.

Wearing your strip into the enemy's pub, I could see the problem with, but since the English stand out a mile in Wales anyway ...

You keep flying the flags Ray. My husband was beaten up in Anglesey last week, his only crime was asking directions then admitting he lived in England!!
