anyone remember the olden days and the ice lollies-
a lord toffington or a cider barrel ice lolly!! yeeehaaa whopper bars and hegehog flavour chrisps!!

Screwball from the ice cream van.....seemed massive when i was a kid and come with a little plastic "shovel" to eat it with. And i'm sure they only cost 5p !!!!!!

I remember the screwball's from the icecream man, by the time you ate the icecream your chewy had lost it's colour.
I loved lager and lime lollyices
mojo's and spangles and bubbly chewy's and bazooka joes.

what about Cabanas? coconut type chocolate bar, bit like bounty!
and if u really wanna go back in time, i remember Ice Breaker...chocolate bar with bits of green minty bits in it and it came in a silver foil!

Izz66 - yes Ice Breakers were gorgeous - they came in during 1971 - I remember because I spent my first Five Shiny New Pence on one - thats what they cost (5p) the equivelent of one old shilling.
dollie! i thought i was the only one remembed Ice Breakers! they were fantastic...and i remember them being a big bar too...well i would have only been 5 at the time so everything seemed pretty big! you got a good memory to remember they came in 1971!

I never liked chery lips, they remind me of parma violets and taste of perfume to me.
My hubby remembers walnut whips, only cos his mum said they were for grownup's so he used to open them, eat the choccy leave the nut!

One Penny lollies, made from real fruit juice, thats going back to the fifties.

Going back to the 60's does anyone remember an ice lolly in a sort of triangular carton, we used to bite one corner off and it took ages to eat, it melted as you ate and you ended up drinking the last bit. I can't remember what they were called!
horselady...they were called jublies or jubleys...
