We're getting married on Saturday. We plan to present our mothers with flowers during the speeches. The bridesmaids, ushers, fathers, best man have also all got prenets but we're trying to work out when to give them out. We don't want tp spend hal an hour giving out presents - especially since a couple of them wouldn't want a presentation in front of other people.

Any ideas?

I thought that the present giving to bridesmaids etc was done during the grooms speech when he stands and thanks them and the best man and ushers.
Thats certainly what my husband did anyway.
If you have a master of ceremonies ask them to bring the gifts in at the right moment.
I think best man thanks/gives presents to bridesmaids, groom gives to bride's mother.

I remember hubby bought a present for his best man (his bro) and gave it to him privately before the ceremony. You could do similar for fathers, ushers and the like.
Wow, things are different on my side of the pond. When we got married, my love and I gave out the gifts at home before we left for the church. We were all congregated at my parents' house for pre-ceremony photos. That way, the bridesmaids, ushers, etc., didn't have to worry about where to stow them during the festivities.

When we distributed everyone's boutinierres (spelling?) and bouquets, we had the flowers on a table with champagne and the presents beside them. As everyone claimed their flowers, we toasted them all and presented the gifts. It didn't take long (maybe 15 minutes), and it gave us a few private moments with our "special people" before the madness began in earnest.
Oh, and Yorkie, congrats on your upcoming nuptials! All the best to you and your beloved.
I got married in march this year and gave pressies to bridesmaids, etc in the morning when we were getting ready. The only present handed out during the wedding was mine to my hubby during the best man's speech.
I'd give them out during the speeches, all you have to do is to ask all of the appropriate people to make their way up to you then hand them out, it wouldn't take long if it's all done in one fell swoop!

Wedding was great. We gave out the presents before ahnd, except for the mothers and our 7 year old neice.

It went really well.
Glad to hear (read) it, Yorkie, and congrats again. On behalf of all those happily hitched, I welcome you to the club. Your decoder ring and secret handshake guide are in the post.
