Mrs Elvis makes me do 25 sit-ups for 1 beer yet alone six

Hi froggo, i do 200 a day and my stomach is shaped and well. I use a sit up bar... start at 25 a day and build up from there...
WOW well I tried doing massive amounts of sit-ups for WEEKS trying to get a six-pack. Nothing really helped except running, it toned my stomache up better than any running
why settle for a 6 pack when you can have a 24 case
200 a day and I dont have a six pack!! just nicely toned
If you can do more than say 20 sit ups in a set then you are doing the wrong sort, you need to find a different sort.
set a small amount to begin with like 30 a day and then work up. maybe keep at 30 for a week or so then increase to 40 and so on. i try to do 150 a day, not that i cant do anymore but must admit im a bit lazy. wouldnt say i have a 6 pack but my tummy is quite defined and toned. then again i have been a gymnast for 16 years. good luck x
you can do as many sit up as you want...but if you're overweight, the fat will hide any signs of a six pack.

I think if you have blubber then the muscles will develop under the blub and make you look fatter.
You need to lose the blub first with some cardio and diet work. Some people will find it hard to get a pack while others will develop quite quickly, be patient.
I would try three sets of 20 (every other day)and just change them every time e.g normal situps, Then try touching right elbow to left knee and right elbow to left, try with a weight on your chest etc etc.
Crunches are as good and safer than situps though.
