Hi Sugarcult, there is a product called Touche Eclat, made by YSL... costly at 22, but will last an age....
what you do is paint the product down either side of your nose, and smudge it into the skin, so it gives the effect of a slimmer nose... you dont put the product on all over, just where you want the effect of light.... it's also a fantastic under eye cover....
You can sculpt it using different shades of foundation. Have a look at your local colleges and see if any run thatrical makeup courses, ask them if they can advise you - I'm not saying use heavy theatrical make up just advice on how to create an illusion.
I used to have a big nose and was tormented for years about it. One day after a complete stranger making a really cruel remark on the street I went back to work in tears. A collegue admitted that she had had a nose job and encouraged me to speak to my Doctor, a year later I had my nose done (on the NHS too as they agreed my nose was disproportionate to my face) and I've never regretted it. Funnily enough I was more concerened they'd make it too small and too perfect but it's lovely.
Maybe you should reconsider surgery, if it is something that is going to bother you throughout your life, just a thought but my friend had a similar problem and she had hers done it went like a breeze and she is so happy with the result, and I don't think it is as mega expensive as it used to be.
