I wouldn't put me off if that's all you can afford. However, at my age I expect all the comforts a nice new car can offer, but seeing as i don't have a car at the moment I'd be impressed with anything with 4 wheels!

Well I'm not interested in blokes for their car or any other reason other than being mates (obviously). IBut I would not have a problem with a potential girlfriend if she drove a cr**py car. I drive a "pile of junk" at the moment and my girl doesn't drive at all. We seem to get on OK ;-)

My brother used to have a Lotus Cortina, and pulled all the birds bob, but then he was/is a very hansome man. Have not seen a picture of you so sorry I can't comment!!

Not necessarily, but remembering back to when I was a single girly.... in my experience, blokeys that had cr++py cars or cars that didn't look cared for, were usually the sort of bloke who didn't much care for himself either. Now, to be fair, it could have been that these were blokeys with limited funds for maintenance, but even a cr+p car looks better when it's kept washed, cleared of several weeks of takeaway wrappers and old newspapers and treated to one one of those smelly hangy tree things. Same goes for the bloke.........

I drive a modded Lotus Exige with a five o'clock shadow and shades, and would expect similar class from a prospective partner.

Bob when I was a bairn I always wanted a Cortina coz they were cool and I thought theyd pull the chicks.

I curently drive a Ferrari 550 Maranello, and that really pulls the chicks...I dont even need to use any patter.

Yes they are. If you need to attract females you must go and hire a nice car for the day and collect as many numbers as you can. I would suggest about 6 months worth. Take out as many as possible (not at the same time, limit it to 1s and 2s), meet them at the airport and tell them you're just passing through on business. Sort the wheet from the chaf. Bobs your uncle or maybe not in your case.

Absolutely NOT, but I wouldn't date someone who drove a Ferrari, Lotus or Pagani Zonda either - as they could never love me as much as their cars!!!!

when i met my man he drove a new capri, i thought , well made it here!!! man with money!!! been together 25 yrs, drive a mondeo and a fiesta now. love him to death. cars mean nothing, just a status symbol at the time.
