Weird Dream

Was just wondering if anyone can tell me the meaning of this weird dream I had last night. My sister passed away six months ago she was 47. I dreamt last night that she was getting married to her partner who she had been with for 21years (she was widowed herself at 22). I didn't see her face in the dream just the white veil over her face. It wasn't in a church, more a little hall. The guests didn't stay long and in the dream I was worried about glasses and plates being left scattered all over the place and started to clear up as I knew my sister didn't like mess. My boyfriend came over to me and said "Oh there was no mass said, so I got Liz and Harry to one side and we said mass together". I thought but she wasn't catholic so why did you do that. My sisters brother in law was also at the wedding with his wife.
She had always stayed close to her husbands family, he was also at her funeral.
I felt really confused this morning by the dream and I'm hoping someone can tell me the meaning. Thanks

Bez..that dream was so specific,that a book interpretation would not be of any use.There's a lot of personal family stuff goin on there.The whole religious aspect?

Redbel, Im sorry for your loss. You must be heartbroken. I have a dream book. Worrying about mess and clearing up is described as "Unfinished business or Issue's" A bride is a positive sign. no kay, you are dead wrong. people like you who have the relevant info at hand are the people who make AB worthwhile however.
this is the first night i,ve even heard of lindapinda, so who is she to come down on me like that.
she is saying that a book interpretation wouldnt be any good for gods sake. so she can do a better job. do you see what i'm getting at. so hows she qualified. i class red as a mate, so she needs the best advice. when lindapinda has published then she can give it.
and if ME being overprotective about a mate offends anyone, then tough.

Hang on a min Ste...nobody is having a dig at you....my friends where sensitive to my situation I haven't been speaking to you long enough for you to know what has gone on over the last six months, they have. Nobody is trying to kick you offa AB....god mate it's an internet site.....They where sensitive to my situation, you didn't know about it.....now let's that be the end of this. Lifes too short.

With regard to the dream, I really don't think that 'dream interpretation' books give a specific account of what you're brain is doing. They're very generalised. Your dream is a very personal thing and I'm sure it's more to do with the fact that you miss your sister or you are still in mourning for her or both. In your dream you were obviously very concerned about making her day a perfect one because you seemed to worry about lots of little details. Did you feel sad immediately after you woke up? Or maybe felt that you didn't or couldn't do enough for her in the dream? i.e. feeling helpless.

There's nothing wrong with keeping your sister's memory alive; in dreams or in reality. Just remember that your imagination takes over during sleep so will often distort things. Try not to worry about it too much.

Hi Champagne thank you for your lovely reply. x When I woke up I did feel really sad. I spent most of yesterday trying to decypher the dream.
My sisters partner had asked her numerous times to marry him but she had always said no. So the only thing I could think of is that she is trying to tell me she is still with him, even though she never married him in life she is there by his side.

That's a really spiritual and lovely way of looking at it. I think you should definitely take comfort in that thought. x

Hi Redbel, there is a difference between a dream and a visitation from someone who has crossed over. Usually a dream is hazy and difficult to remember the next day, whereas a visit from a love one is very clear and detailed and will be remembered and recalled very easily. Sometimes if we can't see the person's face clearly it is because we are scared that because they are not here anymore we will forget what they looked like. A mess can indicate that there was unfinished business or things left unsaid (even if that is our own fear and not the reality). Religious references are sometimes our own subconscious questioning our own faith or beliefs. We sometimes bring other people in to a dream for "backup" as it were (safety in numbers and all that). Remember that these are not always our conscious thoughts but deep rooted subconscious ones. I am sad for the physical loss of your sister, but please be comforted by the fact that she is fine and happy on the other side. Love and light Amara xx
