Right apologies on the grammer, yes its not perfect but surely its far flung from the tragedy that is txt spk.

Right pro lifer christians are the people who stand outside abortion clinics and shout abuse at people who are going in to have an abortion. it is probably one of the most inhumane things i have seen on t.v and furthered my hatred of religion but thats another debate.

now my other debate why i hate religion. ok where to begin ok in this day and age if someone tried to start a new religion if they said that some god came down and showed us a new way they would be laughed all the way to the loony bin. how about the fact that the bible is full of glaring contradictions? how about the fact that christians and ministers now choose to ignore the bits in the bible they dont like? how about the fact that most of Christianity was started by extreme genocide? Thats for starters.

I don't personally like the idea of abortion if there is nothing the matter with the foetus but that's just MY personal opinion. As anyone who knows me will testify to I will uphold the rights of any woman to terminate her pergnancy up until the 21st week of gestation and I think that ANYONE who makes that harder for a woman than it has to be is an inhumane lowlife, so that includes all the nutty born agains that maraud up and down outside of abortion clinics in the States. They obviously haven't understood a word of their bible for where is their love for their fellow human being?

nuxlomus i do understand where your coming from its an innocent life but i think worst case scenario some woman i s raped and then forced to bear this thing that could every day haunt her for 9 months and then she might reject it so you now have an adult mother with issues and a child that grows up with nothing and knowing that his own mother rejected him i just dont see why you have to put another human being throught that misery i really dont

But (ooo shouldnt start a sentance with a 'but' whilst we on topic of grammar!) I got to agree with the majority on here. All women should have a choice (within the legal limit) whether to have an abortion or not. No one else will understand the agonies these women face before they reach that painful decision. If the so called pro lifers think that it was an easy choice to make, then they are idiots as well as misguided.

i consider myself intelligent and love discussions like this and i know if you get a controversial subject that you feel strongly on then you get people wanting to contribute and as i know there are a lot of intellignet people on here it always sparks an interesting conversation. Religion just happens to be my favourite. I cannot understand how people in this day and age can read the bible as if it was a history book it made me laugh so hard when i read some of it
