Did i have a miscarriage?

Im on the pill and i often dont have a period. I didnt have a period for two months and when i come on this month a huge lump of bloody mess really came out (sort of resembling a jelly like discharge) is it possible i could of had a miscarrage and not realised?

Highly unlikely.

Most probably 'old' uterus lining and accumulated blood. What you describe is very common and normal.

Clots can be really quite large, I had one the size of a palm of my hand, a couple of days after giving birth ,many years ago it made me feel quite unwell 'passing' it.

every time i have a period i have large clots i take utovlan from the doctors they help me so much.its normal but it does feel strange doesnt it

I agree with the others ~ I occasionally pass clots during a normal monthly period, as Ethel says it is usually an accumulation.

However, if you get worried about it or it persists/becomes painful then get it checked out.
