Tattoo meaning

Can anybody tell me the meaning of a particular tatoo i wonder if it has a meaning or not as i have never seen it on a woman, the tattoo is very simple its basically 2 thick lines parralell to each other on a guys forearm they are about an inch apart and about 2cm each thick they basically form 2 identical band next to each other and they are filled in black. please help.
