By having the police involved then at least they should protect you and keep you safe and that's the main thing.

Police just gone.They can't arrest him as they say that one eve of txts would be thrown out by CPS,no matter how nasty,but they are going to go and give him a formal caution now and will ring me afterwards to let me know what happened.

Im ok.They were very nice and I tell tell them all the history,but they said that the CPS would put one eve of nasty txts down to a mad,possibly drunken temper.But they also saif that if they go and speak to him today and he kicks off and gets mouthy etc then they will arrest him and charge him.
Am glad I did it though - might make him think twice in future!!
