as accurate as they can be when not hungover Make sure you follow the instructions properly. And dont forget it is possible to get a false negative but not a false positive
thanks redcrx
bit worried about the false negative part though
eeek
i have heard of people getting negative tests 2 or 3 times though and then positive
hmmm doctors i think!!!
just to let you know that the false negative thing is really common - it took my sister 12 home tests, 2 GP tests and finally a blood test before they confirmed that is was definitely a positive - she is now 22 weeks.!!
2 weeks
but i had this same situation 4 years ago , went to the drs and was diagnosed with polycistic ovary syndrome, but from then , my periods have been like clockwork , i have never missed one from that one time 4 years ago, they are always every 4 or 4 and a half weeks , but now its 6 weeks since my last one
have you done a test?? like already said you can get a false negative. if you're unsure a trip to the doctors should be able to put you in the picture. xXx
Being hungover won't affect the accuracy of your result, but if you have any reason to believe you might be pregnant, you really shouldn't be drinking at all. Drinking at such an early stage of gestation can do some serious damage to the fetus. Please get yourself checked out before you drink again.
Rom, When I did my test with my daughter it went positive while I was peeing on the stick..lol.. There really good now.. If its negative it most likely is. If you want just go and see your DR. good luck rom!
