Perfume!

I heard once that if you can smell your own perfume on you all day long then its the wrong perfume for you!

Do you think thats true?

I normally wear Dolce&Gabbana - Light Blue and sometimes CKB. I can never smell them when I wear them but people tell me I smell nice and normally ask what it is... but this morning I ran out of D&G so I am wearing Ghost! I don't normally wear it but I don't mind the smell but I can smell it everytime I breathe and its beginning to become sickly!

Hey rubes, chances are you can smell it more because you're not used to using it whereas you've become immune to the smell of the other two due to frequent use.

I always wear Angel for work and people comment on it -even the kids say how nice it is, however my fiance says it smells like medicine!
can't win em all eh?!

Well its only 11:40am and I didn't put that much on this morning at 8:30am! I normally can't smell my perfumes all day long but I guess there must still be a hint of it there because people comment on the fragrance! But today I can smell this one no matter what I do! I should be used to it aswell as my best mate wears it!

You don't need to be able to smell it yourself to know that it's on. It surprises me sometimes when people say i smell nice when i can't smell anything.

Hi Ruby,

As already said, you can get used to a regular perfume you spray on, and a less frequent or new one, will be more pungent to your nostrils! As long as you don't spray on too much of course, as Ethel said it can be overpowering!
