Have you done or said anything silly recently?

As always we have had our usual selection of "holiday howlers" that we regret as soon as we have uttered them! For example a member of the family asked is the sea wet? Look at that plane ( it was a seagull! )

the silliest thing i ever did, and this is gonna kill me telling ya, when i flew on holiday for the first time, we were having a bit of banter with a security chap and then he held his hand out to me. I stood and shook it!!!!! he wanted to check my handbag!!! I felt so so stupid when he asked to look in my bag, but he still shook my hand anyway!
I was only 19 and had never been abroad before. I cant believe i have told you that because it makes me squirm just thinking about it! I have to say though, i dont get any better doing daft things!

Heya Jules. Hope you are well.
A geezer siddled up to me in square in Amsterdam and said ' Are you here for business?' I looked at him and said ' No ,just the weekend!' , and carried on walking across to the next church when the same thing happened again. I asked Mr Sense 'Why do the Dutch care if we are here on business or not?' Told him what had happened .... he looks at me like I hit every branch of the stupid tree on my fall to earth .... 'Drugs, Honey, they are asking you if you want to buy drugs!"
I guess I had a sheltered childhood.
