Looking very overcast in the Midlands...
Rain seems to have been and gone here in Somerset! I feel better now it's sunny!
we have just had a really heavy storm with the lightening knocking out the phone and the internet.
My mood has changed because my house nearly flooded because im in the corner and mine is lower than the others in the street and it was all running down and gathering at my front door. I was very worried that it was gonna overflow the front door step. I had to go out and do my best to sweep it out a bit. The worst is over, thank god!

unruliejulie, that's what happens to us too! I'm dreaading the cloud bursting, I love rain but I don't want to be flooded out. My mood certainly will change when the cloud breaks as I'll be in and out waging my pathetic war armed only with a bucket.
Sunny where I am - my office is in Kent but I can see Canary Wharf in the distance!
Kent is very boring - relocated here about 3 years ago from Hoxton - no comparason.
Hoxton has the bars whereas all Swanley has to offer is depression at lunchtimes! ;-)

Perhaps they could change the welcome sign as you enter the town to, Welcome to Swanley - At least it isnt raining!
thunder lightening so much rain i cant see across the road, but i guess the ducks love it,,,,,,me i dont and my mood is grey toooooooooooo
by the way im in hertfordshire
It was thunder and lightening on the Costa de La Luz this morning - first rain for over a month - back up to around 80 now though.
Bouncing it down in Leeds and I just heard thunder! It's also pitch-black dark outside now aswel, did I pass out and wake up in the middle of December or something?!?!?
Kate 77 - mentioning town signs has reminded me of the best piece of grafiti i ever saw. On the tiwn sign where I live someone has written underneath in black marker -"twinned with Royston Vasey" !

just stared about 15mins ago in manchester and yep im fed up now
All this talk of thunderstorms and rain has made me check the weather for V festival at Weston Park - Grrrreat a weekend of getting soaked - hmmm ;-(

Poor you! Better luck next time! The rain's over and done with here, for now, so I'm hopeful, but doubtful..
Had a few days and nights of torrential rain & it has definitely changed my mood - I'm delighted the hideous scorching sun and clammy close atmosphere has finally ended - it was driving me mad... I'm a good Northern girl and I can't be on with 'scorchio'... It's like a rainforest monsoon and it makes me happy like a chattering monkey :D
