save your hair!!
11 Answers
today i treated myself to a trip to quite a fancy salon to get my hair cut rather than the cheap random ones i normally go to. i had quite a drastic change from very long hair to a bob. the woman who cut my hair asked me if i wanted to keep the hair she cut off. to me it seems the weirdest thing to ask someone. any ideas why? is it something a lot of hairdressers ask everyone or did she just think that because my hair was quite long i might be emotionally attached to it in some strange way? and what would i do with it, take home in a carrier bag, and then what? i'm totally bemused

I live in the new forest and a lot of gardens have problems with deer getting in and eating everything - local people get hair from hair dressers and stuff it in old tights and tie them in the garden as the 'human' smell deters the deer? Weird but true.
