Yes I take care by not covering my skin in chemicals and most of my hair has fallen out.

Saves me a fortune and I still have good skin, soft as a babies bum, actually Ive been told I look like an ass as well!!

So not so sure its working!!

Over the years I've spent and wasted so much money on beauty products in search for somethign that works.
When I say works, I mean suits my skin type, I have very sensitive skin and for all the products out there that claim they are fit for those with sensitive skin, well, all I can say is, someone's lying!

I've now found a solution and I'm sticking to it! Lancome aqua fusion moisturiser - costs around �27 but lasts a long time,
And for the rest of my body, The Sanctuary products.. face scrub, body wash, all over moisturiser, hot sugar scrub, bath oil, hand cream & hand soak.
Hair - pantene shampoo & conditioner.

I've never actually calculated the costs and I don't think I want to either! :o\

I don't do the false nails & sunbeds etc so I guess I'm not spending as much as some ladies do!

Ummm, as a mum to a VERY inquisitive 20 month old, I'm lucky if my shoes match on a day to day basis, so self grooming has taken a bit of a back seat lately :-(

yes...stupidly!!!!!

i get my hair done at a hairdressers once a month, although i use the john freida shampoo and conditioner for brunettes daily.
my nails every 2 weeks
massage and facials twice a month
i use Sanctury products and Creme de la mer(although this lasts forever)


i'm sure there are worse things i could be spending my money on!!!

I think a lot of these so called toiletries and stuff can do more harm than good.When you look at some of the stuff that it is them they are mostly chemicals and a lot are tested on animals.I am getting old now and my fortune is made so I use soap and water twice a day and a basic body lotion.Less slap is more at my age so I save on that and just do my wash and polish routine on the face ,cream ,hot flannel to wipe it off.I have my hair cut every six weeks and colour it myself.I do splash out on perfume , nail varnish and lipstick though.
I usually get a treat fro Mr S or my sons of a manicure or facial now and again.I am quite well preserved for my age (Lol) without spending mega money.

I use mascara and powder for make up, I wash and condition my hair daily and the products I use cost me a bomb but its my luxery. I dont have my nails done, I get my hair done maybe 3 times a year. I take pride in how I look but I dont go over board I dont like to look high maitenance.

oh god yes!! i spend an absolute fortune on myself. i really dont give a hoot how much something costs, if i want it..i buy it. hubby goes mental but i hide most of it. i would think nothing of spending a couple of hundred quid in one go at the cosmetic counter. i think i look great, hope so anyway..bit of a waste if i look ridiculous wouldnt it!!?

Good grief ...TheTemptress..a couple of hundred sovs ...Mr.S would have forty fits !!
I have to hide my CC statements as it is..Ha ha ....good luck to you ..I wish I could get away with it these days.When I was young and fit and working I used to do the same ..but poor old gals like me on a pension have to watch our pennies ..mind you I will NOT do without my Nina Ricci perfume !!!
