Menstrual migraines
6 Answers
I suffer from these and thanfully although my symptons are milder than that of some poor people, they tend to go on for at least 3 days which is very unpleasant. My doctor has prescribed migraine relief tablets which are good, but I would like to try to avoid getting the migraine at all if possible. My doctor suggested that I continue to take the pill without a break for a few months to avoid the migraines and I tried this and it seemed to work for the first month, but then the migraine appeared again regardless the following month. I believe that some people have had some success with the Feverfew herb, has this worked for you? Or does anyone have any other ideas that I could try? Many thanks Sue

There are many products out there to help with migranes so pick a good few and then try them all to see which works best for you. What works for one person may not work for you so there is no point asking others if a certain thing has worked for them.Sometimes an ordianry aspirin is enough.
Many thanks for the suggestions, but I may give the hot water bottle on the head a miss though! I do take Ibroprofen which work, but only for about an hour and a half and as you can only take them every 4 hours I have to put up with it the rest of the time. I may have another look at the herbal remedies and give those a try. If it seems to work, I will let you all know.
