Its a long story, but i've had tonsilitus on and off for a year and a half, recently i've had real problems swollowing my food, not through pain but because i keep chokin, i've had medicine after medicine and tablets but they say my tonsils aren't dangerous to me, otherwise they would advise me to have them out, so i've just carried on with the meds...the problem is, i dont think its all about my tonsils, the more it happens the more i believe this may be a phycological thing, as i have panic attacks aswell, and when i'm eating, i chew for ages and ages, worrying about choking then i panic then i feel i am choking.. its really getting me down, i want some answers and i want to know whats going on, i'm starting to wish i was 14 again when i could eat something without thinking about it...help.

Don't worry, seriously, I have had something similar for yonks. It's in your mind, and there is almost certainly nothing wrong with your throat, hard though that may be to believe when it's happening to you. Look up globus hystericus.
