There are huge problems in P'boro particularly with crime and racism. :Lets just say that interpreters earn their money 24/7 (and I hate using that term).

At one point it was rife for car crime - that was the main crime round here (not long ago), you couldn't go on any of the parkways without seeing abandoned burnt out cars, kinda like living in a war zone. Now violent crimes against persons are more prevelent. I personally find some areas as scary as hell at night and won't go there.

We have a huge Polish, Russian, Kurd, Kosovan, Portugese community, interspursed with the asian - because of course it is the only place to house the imigrants (not), ridiculous really, and they wonder why there is racial tension here!!!
