Red Nose
6 Answers
Has anybody succesfully overcome a red nose?. The tip and bridge of my nose are bright red nearly all of the time. It's so embarrasing, when I meet new people their first reaction is to rub their nose. I know it could be related to Rosacea and have tried to avoid spicy foods etc. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have a female friend who has Rosacea and she goes to the hospital for outpatient appointments with a specialist. She has creams to use and has to stay out of the sun. She is quite particular about it as she says she doesn't want to end up with one of the big red bulbous noses that old men sometimes have due to rosacea.
My husband suffers from this and so I understand how self conscious this can make you feel. Obviously you have researched Rosacaea so know to avoid spicy things. Also things like caffeine and alcohol can aggravate so best avoided. Make sure you drink lots of water and foods to detox, watermelon and blueberries and spinach and broccoli are great. Also try supplementing your diet with a good multivitamin and mineral and 1000mg vitamin C per day and also some Vit E 400mg a day may well help.
