I'm 35 and have never managed to hv an O whilst having intercourse. Just lately when I climax it is very weak and immediately after I have aches and pains in my stomach and pelvis area leaving me feeling sick??????

Lots of people have never had an orgasm during sex, so thats probably not a problem. When you have an orgasm though everything contracts, so maybe you have a medical reason why this is hurting you...

I know you are still young but its not impossible you are about to go through the menopause, women who are, often have this during and for some time after. It might be worth thinking about if you are having anyother menopausal symptoms. Other problems that could cause this off the top of my head, maybe cystitis or some other bladder infection, or endometriosis. Not sure about these but I would think these could cause pain during sex.

It's a popular myth that women are driven to coma-inducing orgasms by being pounded like a steam hammer - probably perpetrated by men watching adult films, and let's face it, what do they know!

I would suggest that women who do find that intercourse stimulates an orgasm are actually in the minority, based on conversations and such experience as i have in this area - so I think you should just accept that this is the way your body works, and intercourse doesn't do it for you.

As far as the physical after-effects, it's certainly worth a chat with your GP to make sure all is well.

One way of getting over the problem is to both face the same way with him behind you on your sides and then stimulate yourself at the same time as he is inside you. Maybe you are trying so hard to have an orgasm that you are sort of straining and hurting yourself, however best to get checked out.

sex shouldn't make you feel sick - if everyone felt that way, the race would have died out some time ago. I think this is worth asking a doctor about.

That obviously clears up any possibility of the physical differences potentially causing pain - eg. sexual positions etc.......
I hope you resolve this as it must be very frustrating.....
Goodsoulette -has hit the nail on the head with possible menopause onset. I have personal experience with that which does produce these symptoms of pain etc.

I should add that the pain during orgasm I think was only there on three or four occasions and cleared itself without my wife going to her GP. This was after her hysterectomy.
