I mean, could you imagine the hoo-ha caused if the Pope had said that about Islam???
Again, this is just my personal opinion, but certainly two wrongs to not make a right...

i personaly dont understand why muslims want to live in the west with all its advantages (social security housing nhs etc) and then want to blow us up.Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.If they want to live in a muslim society then why come to live in a non-muslim country?I will be glad to see the day when religion is seen for what it is...delusion
It seems to me wizard, they want the whole world to be muslim, it is supposed to be a peaceful following, all Holy books can be taken out of context, what annoys me is the ones that were preaching on the streets in London openly declaring what amounts to hatred for the west, yet as you say, they want to live here, most muslims are peaceful, unfortunately they aren't the ones that are listened to.
raysparx...i tend to agree with you that most muslims are peaceful, however their religion isnt.Mohammed married a 9 year old girl, thats pedophilie in my book, and yet you would get yourself assasinated for saying that. The muslim community only has themselves to blame for any vitriol directed against them. They dont root out the terrorists in their mosques and they hardly (if ever) condem acts of terorism.
The UK will be an Islamic state within 100 years. I don't like that thought, but it is inevitable and I am resigned to it.
Christianity and Islam are irreconcilable. There is no PC mid-point. Take your choice. Read the Koran. Stick the point in the base of the spine so that the victim's head jerks up (facing Mecca of course), then chop it off. It's ok because the area is surrounded by tarpaulin on the ground to soak up the arterial blood. Sometimes the victim's head is propelled for many feet. Saudia Arabia today.

Mary was around 12/13 when she was betrothed to Joseph. He was much older, apparently.

What we have to remember is that in those days it was considered normal..just as it was for Mohammed. The way of life in those days bears very little resemblance to today..after all, we were all first created through incestuous union (Adam, Eve & their children). Christians do not live their lives just as the book tells them to (to the letter) and neither do most Muslims live their lives according to exact teachings of the Koran. It stands to reason, IMO.
