I was speaking figuratively of course dot.hawkes :-)) Was just wondering what had happened to everyone. I went away on holiday and when I came back everyone that was on here regularly seems to have vanished.

Hi and thanks to all who have replied. I have also found some other 'established contributors' that I recognise in 'people and places' It just seemed like I'd come back from my hols and had stumbled into a cyberspace alternate universe, with loads of newbies and no-one I could identify with.

Hey! What's wrong with "newbies"?! I can understand you wanting to feel like you're 'in' a place with familiar friends which I'm sure makes you feel comfortable, but at one point you were all new to this and it would be nice if you appreciated new perspectives on things and new minds to probe! After all, we're all here for the same reason...to escape a little, and find people who are just as loopy as we are! ;)
