A man....... rubs something one day, out pops a geni & grants him 1 wish. The man thinks for a while and requests a bridge to Ireland so that he can easily visit his friends and relatives any time. The geni says that it would be almost impossible - to create such a bridge would involve a monstrous structure, including pilons deep into the ocean bed, then there would have to be fuel stations, restaurants, public conveniences, rest stops, emergency ramps, public telephones, not to mention the upkeep all this would require. The man thinks again and says that he would like to understand women, how they think, what makes them tick, etc. The geni says 'Now, about this bridge.............'.

An accident victim lay gravely ill with severe brain damage. 'the only change is a brain transplant' said the doctor. '$5000.00 for a male brain and $200.00 for a female one'. The men in the large family gathering tried not to smirk, and finally one asked why a male brain is so much more expensive. Women do think differently to men I still don't fully understand them but I now know how to control them chocolate , complements , holidays , cream cakes breakfast in bed , taking the giblets out of the chicken , emptying the rubbish , cleaning up the sick , unblocking the toilet , pretending to look forward to corrie , being a verbal punchbag once a month (twice if you have a daughter) absolutely loving shopping and leaping off the wardrobe dressed as Batman once in a while

I read this in a book - I think it was called "Becoming One". Men express affection with physical things, flowers, doing something nice (like washing the dishes for you), touching... Women express affection with their emotions, feelings, talking, being "close"... This explains why the two sexes often don't understand the others intentions.
