I love the enthusiasm that Americans have. They are like drama students that I teach- so patriotic, sincere and enthusiastic!! I like the fact that they are not like us- reserved and erm, British. I would LOVE to go to America- it's the one place I have always wanted to travel to.
Never been to America, not from wanting to though, but the Yanks, (if you don't mind being called that), that i've met and worked with, both in civilian and army life, are the most well mannered an politest people i've met.

I never thought of going to the USA, save my money to go better places but I was given 4 free Virgin airline tickets to Boston so we went for 12 days.
Hired a car and drove to Niagra falls and came back via New York. It changed all my ideas about the USA, we loved every minute, friendly people even in New York though my sister in law was a bit scared when we made a wrong turn and got lost in the Bronxs, even went up to the top of the twin towers, my condolances on what happened there.
