Its the same old storey in all types of employment, they become a Boss so to speak, then they believe their on a higher pedastal, its as if they look down on you, its understandable to a degree as you get the impression that Bosses can't be seen to have a laugh etc with the employees.
its amazes me sometimes that some people forget where they started in life, personally you could'nt pay me enough to become any sort of manager, i'm not the type to tow the line and ar$e lick {no disrespect to any managers out their} like some of them, your right in pointing out also, that they expect miracles on such a small budget at times, but when they were just an employee so to speak, they were the messroom moaner about conditions etc in the workplace, i would'nt worry about it to much, the percentage of people that become managers soon realise that the grass ain't greener on the other side and want their old job back. theirs a certain breed who are managers, it tends to be the ones who are thicked skinned with no personality, who will walk over you and all to achieve their goals
Ps, as i pointed out, its not all managers, we all have had different experiences in our employment, some better/worst than others
