LASER SURGERY - What do you think?
3 Answers
Went for a consultation for laser eye surgery, told I would need LASEK with Wavefront. Most people seem to have Lasik but don't know any that had the Lasek.
Anyone had LASEK, and what do they think?

In fact I wish I hadn't had the procedure done at all. One eye came out 20/20 the other fell short. I had to wait 3 months to see if it 'settled' but it didn't. I was offered further 'enhancement' sugery but when the surgeon examined me he advised against it as it might not have give me the benefit I was looking for. So now I'm left with one eye competing with the other to find an 'average' vision, which although is over the legal limit for driving, is uncomfortable.
So do ask as many questions as you can to reassure yourself that this is the best solution to your needs. If you have matching vision in both eyes I think you stand more chance of a good result. I had one eye weaker than the other and this I believe led to the result I ended up with.
