Well I was christened 'Asti Spumante', but I always thought it made me seem a bit common, so I changed my name by deed poll to Champagne Portia Diamond Sunflower Farquharson-Smythe II. But you can just call me Champagne. :o)

Oh, im a bit too long in the tooth to go changing my name now ray. I should have been called Claire. My mum had had 2 boys and was thrilled to get a little girl so she held me in her arms and called me her little jewel. A nurse overheard and said to mum, "julie, thats lovely" and Mum thought it was nicer than claire and went better with my surname. I like it more now im older. Hate my middle name though! ;-)
