What do the following words actually mean - I found them all on various bottles in my bathroom:

"Revitalising"
"Energising"
"Natural Balance"
"Non-comedogenic"

Is anyone actually taken in by them? Would you buy a "revitalising" shower gel rather than one which isn't?

And 'moisturising'

I collect shower gels and face washes, which I buy purely on the basis of how they smell, and irrespective of how revitalising or whatever they are. How the heck can washing your face revitalise and energise you ?

Have you ever seen 'not tested on animals' on Garnier products ?
comedones is the posh name for blackheads so non-comedogenic means doesn't block pores which causes blackheads
