My daughter is just the same she uses an american moisturiser called Cetaphil and it is wonderful. It costs less than $5 and it is the only thing she can use. Everytime anyone goes to the US they bring it back for her.

do you have any friends going there soon???????????? I will try and find it on the web now... thanks a million x
Have you tried anything from Lush? They only make their products with natural ingrediants, not chemicals, so you could maybe be OK with one of them.

Thanks doglady.. I have one soap from lush called backside basher!!!!!!!!!! It is a very thick soap and you have no chance of shaving your legs after it has been in the water.. it leaves a thick........scum.......... will something for my face be lighter???
Hi Pembie, I too am a fellow sufferer and after over 10 years of trying to find a product to help without making the problem worse I came across Emulsifying Ointment (seriously cheap and sold in Tubs in all pharmacys on the shelves). Good luck
I've just started using Bio-Oil (on sale at the moment in Superdrug with money off - not particularly cheap at over 7 for a smallish bottle, but a little goes a very long way). Can be used for reduction of scar tissue, prevention of stretch marks, dry skin, sagging facial tissue etc etc. Contains Vits A & E , rosemary oil and other good things. Sinks in easily and although I haven't been using it for long am very pleased with the result.
