whiffey, have you tried the broken sword games? I found them really good, could never do the discworld ones though, now they are really strange.

I am on Broken Sword I (the templar one) right now. I have spent/wasted the last 2 Sundays on it. It's brilliant ! Then I have Broken Sword 2 and 3 to do, Barrow Hill, The Longest Journey, and maybe even finish Monkey island.

I also abandoned Discworld.....

i did the first 2 broken swords years ago. Am just doing them again now and have come to a halt on the first. I know what to do but it just isnt doing it. lol

Put the blood pressure cuff around the hose by the wall and blow it up. When the water stops the gardener will come to investigate and you will be able to sneak into the house.

lol, im stuck trying to fill the cement with the water from the bar towel. i even admit to having looked it up on an internet walkthrough but ive done all it said, and cant think of what else i didn first time around.

so that you can turn the machine off (power button on remote too) without risking having a video tape or DVD still inside

what risk of having a tape inside? what does that matter

well video tapes are stretched i think over the bit that reads them. So it could dmage the tape if left for a long period of time.
