My worst job was also teaching because of the bureaucracy, politics, pointless meetings, lack of support from senior staff, etc.

My worst ever job (and I worked as a temp for a year so I've had a lot) was working for the company with the Golden Arches. I was older than three-quarters of the management, which considering I was only 21 at the time is quite an achievement. The shortest shift on offer was 10 hours and I was once forced to take my hour break 2 hours into a shift. The staff were completely incompetant and fart jokes were the pinnacle of wit. I was constantly stiffed with the late shift because I was over 18, this meant finishing at 1am.
Needless to say, I quit after 3 weeks.

Not exactly a job but the best was when I was a volunteer for for a famous london charity that helps the homeless, we went around the city talking to the homeless promoting the shelter as well as help cook and serve the food for them. Even though it was brief and there was no money I really felt I made a difference and changed a lot of my attitudes toward society.
The worst was when I worked for a very famous Chemist chain to get me through uni. The Manager was close to being a con-man, the staff I worked with were weird and they gave me the most unenviable tasks.

Worst job was working as a waitress in a pizza restaurant. All the staff talked about me behind my back and I never did fit in. I quit after 4 weeks.
Best job was well I don't know really. Haven't particularly enjoyed any of my jobs if I'm honest. But for day-to-day variation/interest I'd have to say my role as a P.A.

My best job is my job now... I am a Director of several companies and enjoy an immensely varied day, every day. I have the benefit of very well trained and motivated staff and life seems perfect in every possible way.
However, just seven years ago, I was doing my worst ever job. I was cleaning vomit and sh*t out of phone boxes in Oxford. This was a horrible job that came with little or no dignity - I even had party goers p*ss in the phonebox in front of me, just for fun!! Bless them, bet If I saw them now I would be asked if I want to "Go large with that" ! haha
I did this job as I needed a vehicle to get to interviews and they provided a bar-fly infested fiesta van that got me to my interviews and, in time, set me on the path to where I now find myself.

Worst job is the one I have got now.. Call centre staff for a major breakdown company. Loads of abuse, no support form managers and terminally tedious..
Best job was when I used to work for a book shop and could spend all day reading the stock.. Shame it was only a temporary outlet and closed down after a few months
