Fainting

I fainted the other night while having a wee, doctor reckons it's not uncommon in older men...I'm 32.
Anyone else had this happen, low blood pressure meant to be the root cause?

low blood pressure is generally the cause of fainting .

I've heard this before, an elderly chap I know (75) told me that his Doctor said ALL men should sit down to wee during the night as the drop in fluid lowers blood pressure and causes fainting. There are, apparently, a significant number of men every year who crack their heads on the loo, knock themselves unconscious and have to be rescued by ambulance and fire brigade because they have fallen across the door and no-one can get in. Usually naked or with their PJ's round their ankles so don't say you have not been warned!!

You,ve probably noticed before that some men in toilets put a hand out in front of them ie on the wall to prop themselves up, i always thought this was because us men were to intoxicated to stand up unaided, but a doctor i know told me, its natural in a lot of men to do this, due to, when your having a pee, the drop in fluid lowers blood pressure.

So spare a thought lads, next time you go into the toilet, and someones proping themselves up against the wall, hes suffering with low blood pressure, caused by having to p!$$ untold times because hes had to much to drink?

My friends son-in-law had the same thing and is the same age as yourself. Had tests but just found to have low blood pressure. take care. Brenda

Can't believe he said 32 is old.

Also cannot believe how complicated it is for men to wee! No wonder they can't aim straight!

you wouldnt believe how complicated merely taking a lash can be vanna.
you have to know your height and the height of the relevant receptacle.
the urgency of the need to leak is also a factor as this dictates the velocity at which the first gush will leave the body, and this must be compensated for to avoid wholesale nagging.
and dont even start on the problems of trying to take a wizz first thing in the morning before the old morning glory has worn off. it could go anywhere then. lol

Thanks to all who answered; just have to clarify, Doc said it was not uncommon in older men, and this was an early start of it...not that I'm an old geezer at 32...Now, where did I put my pipe and slippers...

Hey Jamesy boy. City Hospital this morning has a guy who suffered from practically the same thing.Didnt catch the full name of the diagnosis but was called 'syncope'.
