Hot Pimms

Has anybody seen the advert regarding Hot Pimms as a warming Yuletide drink. I have never tried it but it does look rather nice.

With a nice mince pie and double cream methinks.

Wardy - on the bottle it says drink it like summer Pimms with ginger ale, however the one they show in the advert with the warm apple juice is absolutly yummy, I make it with Cawstons Pressed Apple juice with Ginger and serve with a slice of orange and a slice of apple. Just the thing by the fire on a winters day!

BTW it is the Winter Pimms as opposed to the ordinary 'summer' Pimms.

Is that ginger ale or fresh grated ginger?

Cawstons do an apple juice with Giner in it but you could just as easily use fresh grated ginger. Just gives it a litle extra warmth.

It does look like a lovely drink. I haven't seen the advert and have never had Hot Pimms. But I will now!!!

Try some Duvel instead...its a bottled beer that tastes like Sherry and is 8.5 %....tastes very smooth

Duvel reminds me of Del Boy in Only Fools and Horses "Dates" when he first meets Racquel.

At the dating agency his says his name is Duvel, Derek Duvel.

WOW, and I just arrived home having bought some lovely minced pies and cream for my man ... must get some Winter Pimms and have a go! YUMMMMMMM!!!!!
