Bank account hacked

somebody has fraudently set up a standing order using my bank account details, cancelled it on finding out, but nobody has my details so how did this fraudster get them?

It could be from bank statements, receipts, all kinds of things if you've thrown them away. Buy a shredder and shred anything with any personal details on.
Mail could have been stolen or being delivered to an old address etc... If this may the case try here to get it redirected...

Do you have electronic banking or have you enterred bank account details from your computer?
There are a number of Trojans (viruses) that steal bank account information.
However I'd be surprised if the money would then be sent out to a rugby club!
It might just be a simple bank error but Satan will be skating to work before thay admit that!
