I live in Manchester now in the city centre and love it.
Have also lived in Shrewsbury (very quaint and oldy wordly), Aberystwyth (tiny but beautiful and lovely to be by the sea), Leeds (great place, loads of great bars) and Earls Court, (v.loud and sirens all the time), West Kensington (nice), Hampstead (very posh) and Belsize Park (very posh!) in London.
I live in my character cottage on the beautiful North Devon coast, overlooking the sea, together with my darling partner and my lovely 90 year old Mum! Oh, and doggy Sam! Love it here, as for a painter it is so inspiring and it is not too far from where my two grown up children and their families live. I used to live in cities mainly - London and Cardiff as a child, then Wiesbaden and Frankfurt in Germany. Also lived in the countryside not far from Strasbourg in France. and in a few villages in Germany too. I'm happy wherever I am as I am quite good at making a cozy welcoming home out of any type of place really. I do like my family fairly near though, especially since I now have 5 fun loving grandchildren. The only thing that does bother me is the fact that it is a long trip to get to the continent from here. I miss driving from Germany into France fro the occasional lunch. Bit difficult from Devon (LOL).
I live in London and I guess it's ok!! Great for shopping and transport but then its so busy and mad and polluted which makes it not so good. Can totally see myself moving out of London in the future!!
I live in Taunton and its rubbish. Really, really rubbish. There is nothing to do here. Seriously thinking of moving next school year. I couldnt live up north or farther south west though.
Jenna is Blyst hill museum the one where its all old stuff?? And you get old money to use?? Or am I thinking of something else?? If it is that, I've been there and it's brill.
I live in Devon - have done since I was born (I'm 20), so don't know any different. I do like it, occasionally I do think I'd like to live somewhere bigger and livelier, but it is a nice part of the world down here.
